In Awe of the Andes - Post 58
Post 58 is a youth-led leadership organization out of Portland, Oregon which gets high schoolers outside to hike, climb and experience the outdoors with resilience, responsibility and respect. During a three week alpine expedition in Peru in 2019, we set up home base in the town of Huaraz, trekked for 10 days through the Cordillera Huayhuash and climbed the 18,871 ft Nevado Pisco in the Cordillera Blanca.
